Books!!!!!!

Hello there!

These are some of my favorite books!
The ones you can cuddle up with, and read on a rainy day when there really isn't any
thing to do but school and the housework.

I have only read the little house books recently, but I don't recommend waiting because I soon found that I was missing out!

I bought these at a Christian book store where we used to live, and enjoyed reading them immensely.
It's about a foster girl, named Skye, who hates anything to do with God, but loves her foster parents horses,
ends up coming to Christ through a friends death. I love them and hope you will take my advise and read them!

Everyone tells me that they can't stand this book, but my sister gave me a copy and I read it. Now it is one of my most favorite books. She talks so dramatically, it really does make you laugh!

This is about a girl who left her home town because of the war, but is separated with her father and hopes he will be there when she comes home. When he is not, she sets about making a home for her brother, her grandma and herself. He finally comes home, but not before a soldier who before he went to war became very good friends.

Nory is about 11 years old and lives in Ireland during the potato famine.
As she struggles to keep her family and herself alive half of her family immigrated, while her father is looking for work for months at a time, until only her and her brother are left in Ireland.

ELSIE DINSMORE!!! An 8 year old girl who is a very strong Christian, and  hopes for her fathers return from Europe. But the only problem is that her father is not a Christian, but I won't spoil the rest of the book.
Or should I say books! There are a rather large amount of  books in this series, the first 2 books are when she was a little girl, all the  rest are when she is older.

I love books and I think that more than one of you  love books too.
I'll keep the reviews coming, but be sure to write in your comments your favorite books.

Bye book lovers!

Mary
